Give blood! Donate blood at the Dorchester Community Blood Drive sponsored by DotHouse Health. Everyone who donates blood will get a $5 Dunkin Gift Card by email!  The event will take place at the DotHouse Health Multi-Purpose Room from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14th.

Celebrate MLK Day! It’s the 37th Annual MLK Celebration at the Strand Theatre! Join over a dozen BPS schools for a variety of performances including music, dance, acting and more on Thursday, January 17th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Plus you’ll hear from the winners of the annual MLK essay contest!

The MFA is offering Free admission for all on MLK Day!  All events are free on Monday, January 21st! Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by surrounding yourself with art, culture, and community. Enjoy free admission all day long at the MFA’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Open House.
