Thousands of hand-painted rocks were placed along the front of Florian Hall on Sunday morning. The Hallet Street firefighter union hall will host the wake for Dorchester native and former NHL player Jimmy Hayes who passed away suddenly last week.

Maggie Moran from the Ambrose Angels has organized the effort of having local youth organizations plus friends and neighbors create these beautiful works of art.
