A student at a Dorchester high school was hospitalized Wednesday after being stabbed by another student, who is now in police custody. According to a letter written by TechBoston Academy’s head of school, the victim was stabbed during a fight between two students. The school was placed on lockdown for about 20 minutes.
Boston police confirmed that they responded to TechBoston Academy around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday. The student who was stabbed suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
