Pumpkin Parade

Wear your Halloween costume and bring a carved pumpkin to the Pumpkin Parade on the Neponset River Greenway Trail at Pope John Paul Park on Hallet Street in Dorchester! Enjoy music, candy and the pumpkin patch! The fun takes place on Thursday, October 28th at 5:30pm. Your costume or pumpkin will allow you to enter a raffle for a DCR annual parking pass, a pumpkin full of candy, and more!

Trunk or Treat

It’s #TrunkOrTreat time at the Boston Police VFW Post at 500 Talbot Ave! Saturday October 31st, 5:00pm-7:00pm! Bring the kids to Trick or Treat in a safe spot! To be a Trunk, call the Post at 617-282-4055 to reserve your spot!

Weekend Long Halloween Celebrations at dbar

Frightening good fun at dbar!  Kick off Halloween weekend on Friday with Scream Queens Karaoke from 10pm-2am. On Saturday its Dorchester Horror Stories complete with costume contest and DJ Jay Ine 10pm-2am. It’s a Spook’d Halloween Tea Dance featuring DJ Joe Bermudez on Sunday from 4pm-8pm!

Halloween Greatest Hits True Crime Night with Sarah Cailean -Assemble your crew… There will be talk of killers, infamous and obscure cases, and attendees will even get to play trivia and try to win prizes. If you’re into true crime podcasts and TV specials, this is a must-see! Each ticket includes a flight of 4, 5oz. pours of your choosing. Zoo Howl

Franklin Park Zoo is getting into the Halloween spirit with a scavenger hunt, set up a trick-or-treat trail, and “mystery animal encounters.” This family friendly event takes place on Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm. You can purchase your tickets here!
