The first Sunday in June is officially Dorchester Day! The parade starts at 1:00 p.m. in Lower Mills at the corner of Washington Street & Dorchester Avenue and travels along Dorchester Avenue to Savin Hill at the corner of Columbia Road and Dorchester Avenue. Come out and show your Dorchester Pride!  

Here is a list of places to celebrate pre- or post-parade! Please check back, as this list could be updated. 

Lace up your sneakers

Lace up your sneakers and participate in the 2025 Dot Day Road Race on Sunday, June 1st!  You can register here!  This family-friendly 5K is for all ages and abilities and begins and ends at The Mix restaurant just before the annual Dot Day Parade! Standard Entry Fee (between 5/1/25-5/31/25): Adults $35/Children 11 and under $18. Day of Race Entry Fee: Adult $40/ Children 11 and under $20. Each registration includes a finisher medal! Food will be available for purchase at THE MIX. You can learn more here! 

Lower Mills Tavern

Start off your Dot Day with a little brunch at LMT!  How about some Cinnamon Roll Pancakes or Chicken and Biscuits?  Celebrate the neighborhood with a glass of sparkling rose!

Blend

Blend is celebrating Dot Day a Dot Pride High Noon Tea from 11am-4pm with music by Begbick plus Harlow Havoc, Lily Rose Valore and Shakaren.

Yellow Door Taqueria

Pre-game or post-parade with some margaritas and tacos!  You can check out their menu here! 

American Provisions

Order up your meat and cheese boards for you Dot Day Celebrations!  American Provisions will also be offering free tastings (wine and snacks) as part of the DorchFest event and look for specials on Dot Day!

Start parade day off with one of our favorite spots in Dorchester for brunch! dbar serves brunch from 11am to 3pm. Right now we’re loving their breakfast burrito on their patio!  Tea Dance starts at 4pm!

Hang out on the patio at 224 Boston on parade day and order up a bucket of bubbles! Or maybe one of 224’s famous burgers paired with Bloody Mary! 

Scobie’s

Enjoy live Irish session at Scobie’s all weekend long – on Friday from 6pm-8pm, Saturday and Sunday from 4pm-6pm! Plus, Scobie’s has an amazingly delicious espresso martini to enjoy while you listen!

Dot Tavern

Dot Tavern is hosting a special post parade party on Sunday from 5pm-8pm at the with live music by Tom Baker and the Troublemakers.

The Bowery Bar

The Bowery Bar will be celebrating with brunch the patio! 

Dorchester Brewing Company

Be on the lookout for Dorchester Brewing Co. float during the parade. Post-parade head to the brewery to continue the celebration! 

Landmark Public House

Landmark Public House will be open at 11am with ice cold drinks, delicious food, family-friendly fun, live music and dancing! Live music starts at 3pm with the Juke City Band and DJ Layzboy at 6pm.
