Micro units + maybe a little too dense?

According to Universal Hub, the Zoning Board of Appeal approved two plans for development in the neighborhood:

22 Freeman Street – Teeny Tiny Units

A vacant lot will be developed into a five-story building with 14 studio apartments near the Fields Corner Red Line stop in Dorchester.

The units would range in size from 378 to 398 square feet. Two of the units will be rented to people making no more than 70% of the Boston area median income. You can get the full details here.

45 Milton Ave

This approved proposal includes six units in 3 buildings that are attached and located at 45 Milton Ave. Parking and density seemed to be the most controversial part of this project.

The ZBA approved the project – but with the stipulations that the developer should work with the BPDA to reduce the number of spaces to seven.

You can get the full details of how the final vote to approve this project when down here.
