Dorchester Development News: Plans Approved for New 42-Room Hotel in Dorchester by ZBA
The Boston Zoning Board of Appeal has unanimously approved plans to replace the former Little House community center at 269 East Cottage Street with a 42-room extended-stay hotel.
The Inn at the Little House would include rooms with kitchenettes, expanded restaurant space on the ground floor, plus a rooftop cafe and deck. The hotel would not have guest parking but is located within walking distance of the JFK/UMass MBTA station.
Developers also plan to pay tribute to the Little House, which closed in 2020, with artwork throughout the new inn.
