According to Universal Hub, the Zoning Board of Appeal approved the plan for a 29-unit apartment building at 1463-1469 Dorchester Ave – all units will be rented as affordable and ownership that residents can buy into. The development is located right near the Fields Corner MBTA Station – therefore there will be no parking.
There will be 21 studios, each 400 square feet and 8 one-bedrooms roughly 450 square feet. These smaller units are part of a new City of Boston pilot program that allows small units to increase the affordable housing supply.
