Beware of Flooding on Morrissey Boulevard

Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) has issued a flood warning for Morrissey Blvd due to incoming high tides.  See notice below.

Also on the horizon – A King Tide coming up on October 18th with 12 foot high tides expected. Just last month, without a drop of rain, Morrissey Blvd. and the Tenean Beach area were flooded due to tides. Yikes.

Check out this time lapse video footage from Boston Harbor Now of the king tide flooding near Tenean Beach.

Consider yourself warned.
