This is bananas
Without a drop of rain falling from the sky, the flooding in Dorchester on Tuesday was captured in these photos. Thanks to Hurricane Teddy and a very high tide, the ocean just spilled over and flooded Tenean Beach and Morrissey Blvd.
The flooding on Morrissey led to a very challenging afternoon commute with both sides down to one lane. You can check it out here on our Twitter feed.
There are two king tides on the horizon in October and November with over 12 foot tides. Yikes!
You can see the City of Boston’s plan for climate change and flooding here.
A special thank you to @csann on Twitter for sharing these photos with us!
