Enjoy a disco-themed fundraiser on Monday, May 8th from 6pm-9pm at Tavolo featuring Lilly Rose Valore!
Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hour
Coffee and Conversation – Dorchester’s Coffee Hour will take place on Friday, May 12 from 9:30am-10:30am at Doherty-Gibson Playground (Town Field) 1545 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester. Participants will enjoy Dunkin’ Iced Coffee and assorted Dunkin’ MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats along with fresh fruit from Star Market. Additional support is provided by City Express courier service. Each family in attendance will receive a free flowering plant from the Parks Department while supplies last. Residents at each event will also be eligible to win a raffle prize from Dunkin’. Little Green Bins
The Public Works Department is expanding the food waste curbside collection program to serve 30,000 households. The program has collected 800+ tons of curbside food waste for free in those little green bins you see in the neighborhood. You can learn more here!
Pierogis, Polka + Polish Culture and History
Enjoy a day of culture, fun, food, drink, music + more! On Sunday, May 21st, from 12-6pm, the Polish American Citizens Club, and the Polish American Heritage and Community Foundation (PAHCF) will be hosting Polish Fest Boston 2023. This family-friendly annual event allows people from all over the greater Boston area to enjoy the warm hospitality of the Polish community. You can learn more here!
