Pulaski Memorial Cleanup

Call for Volunteers! Join the Polish American Citizens Club in Cleaning Up Pulaski Memorial on Saturday, May 11th at 12pm. In prep for Polish Fest Boston, volunteers are needed to ensure that the Pulaski Memorial area is sparkling clean and welcoming for all attendees!  The memorial is located next to the Polish American Citizens Club, 82 Boston Street.

Tasks Include:

  • Trash Pickup
  • Sweeping and Cleaning
  • Gardening and Landscaping (if applicable)
  • Miscellaneous Maintenance Tasks

Morrissey Boulevard Lane Closures

Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Monday, May 6, 2024, and continuing through Friday, May 10, 2024.  Get full details including times here. American Provisions in Dorchester is selling a very special meatball sandwich to benefit the Murphy School!  This delicious sandwich is made with homemade marinara sauce, topped with cheese and basil on a toasted ciabatta roll!  Don’t eat meat? Don’t worry!  You can order a Murphy’s Roasted Veggie Sub with zucchini, squash, and peppers on ciabatta roll. $1 from each Murphy sandwich sold through May 12th will be donated to the Murphy School!
