Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Monday, May 6, 2024, and continuing through Friday, May 10, 2024. Anticipated high tide times are as follows:
Monday, May 6, 2024, 10:39 p.m.
Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 11:28 p.m.
Thursday, May 9, 2024, 12:17 a.m.
Friday, May 10, 2024, 1:05 a.m.
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on site as needed if the off ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.
P.S. During the day, there will be lane closures too due to construction. Get the details here.
