NYE

Whether you’re staying home for NYE or venturing out to our local restaurants, let these local businesses help make your celebration a little easier. (We will be updating daily – so check back for new additions.)  Here’s our roundup!

Heated Outdoor Dining Spots

We realize that many of our outdoor patios have disappeared for the winter but there’s still some “hot spots” nestled in the neighborhood! We’ve teamed up with the dynamic sister duo of @heat_ya_seat– to find the best heated outdoor dining options! Now more than ever, our local restaurants need our support! This roundup will help to make sure #nocoldbutts will be dining at any of these places!

Recycling Christmas Trees

Maybe wait to toss your tree out the window. The City will pick up Christmas trees during the first two full weeks of January to be shredded for compost. If you have two recycling days, we pick up trees on your first recycling day. Please place your trees on the curb by 6 a.m., without lights or ornaments. Get the details here.

DIY Hot Dog Box via Sully’s

$29.95 gets you a DIY hot dog box! All the fixings included, just cook and serve! Order via Sullivan’s! Also, a reminder that Sully’s closes for the season on December 31st.

Support + Love for Dorchester Community Fridge

The motto of the Community Fridge is, “Take what you need, leave what you can;” and residents are welcome to grab whatever food they need or donate the food they have, without judgement. Well, the fridge could use a little love via donations.  To volunteer to bring items to fill the fridge – fill out this form here!
