We realize that many of our outdoor patios have disappeared for the winter but there’s still some “hot spots” nestled in the neighborhood! We’ve teamed up with the dynamic sister duo of @heat_ya_seat– to find the best heated outdoor dining options! Now more than ever, our local restaurants need our support! This roundup will help to make sure #nocoldbutts will be dining at any of these places!

Dorchester

Hot in Dot. dbar has it all – heaters, repurposed shipping containers that help block the wind and now solariums to heat up their patio for dinner and Sunday brunch! The two private solariums hold up to 6! Make your reservation today! (Photo above)

There is no reason for patio season to come to an end at The Bowery Bar! Not only did they just release their new winter cocktails but they also have two different heated seating options! Their traditional outdoor patio has plenty of heaters to keep you warm and they also have yurts! Wondering what a Yurt is? It’s basically a super cool tent– complete with outdoor heaters, blankets and furry seats on both low top and high top seating! These yurts hold up to 6 and can be reserved for lunch, dinner and brunch.

Blarney Stone is a Dorchester staple and fun fact… the first bar in America to sell Guinness on draught! Their back patio is lit and has several tables with heaters for warmth.

Southie

The newly opened Six West features one of the most spectacular roof decks in the neighborhood. This restaurant is perched atop The Cambria Hotel and recently “winterized” with multiple greenhouses available for booking on Resy. Each greenhouse is heated and can hold up to 6 guests! Perfect for brunch or dinner.

Tucked away at the end of Dorchester Ave. Moonshine 152 has a cozy patio complete with outdoor heaters! Enjoy one of Moonshine’s shareable plates like their famous Korean BBQ Tacos, Seamus’ Favorite Warm Loaded Baked Potato Dip, and Party Tots smothered with kimchi butter, sweet chili, truffled teriyaki sauce. Moonshine 152 is also open for Weekend Brunch!

Woods Hill Pier 4 has peppered its patio with translucent heated igloos for parties of six or less to enjoy dinner overlooking Boston Harbor. With cooler weather upon us, the team at Woods Hill Pier 4 has gotten creative by securing several heated igloos that have been built on their expansive, waterfront patio. The patios can be reserved for parties of two to six guests. The igloos can be reserved for up to two and a half hours and there is a food and beverage spend starting at $450 (based on day of the week and availability) to reserve it. Each igloo will be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and sanitized after each use. You can learn more here!

Sisters Alexis Demetriades Spooner and Alece Demetriades run the heat_ya_seat account together! Alexis had the idea of creating the account after seeing her neighborhood restaurants putting so much time/money/effort together on creating comfortable outdoor dining spots for their patrons! Together, they work to find as many restaurants across the state with outdoor seating and do the best to find pictures that accurately show the heated outdoor dining options so people know what to expect upon arrival!
