A miraculous recovery!
A woman who was struck by lightning last month was discharged on Wednesday from Boston Medical. According to Fox 25 Boston, Thalita Teixeira Padilla, a traveling nurse, received a standing ovation from doctors, nurses, and staff!
A little over a week ago, Padilla got a visit from her dog Bruce while recovering at Boston Medical. Padilla was walking Bruce when she was struck by lightning near Savin Hill Beach. Luckily, neighbors rushed to Padilla and performed life-saving CPR but unfortunately, Bruce ran away in all the commotion.
A stranger found Bruce that night and brought him back to his family. Then later Bruce visited his owner in the hospital!
