Last Chance for Frozen

Holiday Market Opening Weekend

Boston’s largest holiday market returns to the Seaport, aka “Snowport,” for another season starting this Friday. With over 120+ vendors selling gifts, toys, clothes, housewares, jewelry and so much more, there is something for everyone on your shopping list.

Giveback Bash

Good times at The LOT continue this weekend with a special event to honor veterans on Saturday from 12pm to 4pm. Take time to write a letter for troops and first responders or offer a helping hand. Admission is free but guests are asked to consider bringing a donation of white athletic socks, diapers and wipes, or jackets and clothing to benefit local nonprofit groups.

Watercolor for Beginners

Have you ever wanted to tap into your artistic side but not sure where to begin? The Local Hand invites you to a watercolor painting workshop where beginners can learn the basic techniques for using watercolors. Create a seasonal Thanksgiving painting to proudly display at your friends or family gathering. Tickets are $75 and include all supplies.

Originally known as Armistice Day to honor the living veterans of World War I, Veterans Day has transformed into a holiday celebrating all who have served and are serving their country. Here are some things happening in the neighborhood to celebrate.  

Pig Roast Party

Boston Winery is pairing its signature red wine with a celebratory roasted pork for a special event this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. The annual pig roast party features a variety of chef-inspired dishes, music and of course, great wine.

Lesbian Teadance at DBco

LesbianNightLife is taking over Sunday at Dorchester Brewing Company for one last teadance of the season, celebrating LGBTQ+ women, non-binary and transgender friends. The event runs from 4pm to 8pm and admission is $10.

Diwali Feast

Celebrate the Festival of Light with a Diwali feast box from Shanti. A Dorchester favorite, Shanti is known for some of the best Indian food in Boston. Their feast box experience features a 5-course meal including traditional dishes, sweets and a thoughtful gift to help you share the Diwali food and rituals with friends and family. 

Wildman Chili Cook-Off

Stop by Florian Hall on Sunday from 1pm to 5pm for food, raffles and live music from Gunpowder and Lead. Vote for your favorite chili and have fun while helping to raise money for local veterans in need.
