Get Moving
This is year four for the the City of Boston’s annual celebration of movement. It’s the Boston Social Fitness Festival! Fitness fun starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday in City Hall Plaza with yoga, led by fitness instructor Sarah Gaines. Then dance like no one is watching during a Daybreaker Boston dance party and for the rest of the day! There will also be from over 15 different fitness classes like spin, bootcamp, barre and more. Full Moon Yoga
Savin Hill Fitness is hosting a full moon flow and meditation class on Saturday, September 14th, from 7 – 8:15pm celebrating the Harvest Moon. This 60 minute Vinyasa Flow followed by a 15 minute guided meditation will incorporate light journaling and help welcome the transition from summer to fall with a focus on embracing change. Class will be outside on their beautiful terrace with a sunset view, and ending with the full moon just behind us. Bring a light sweatshirt/sweater if the weather turns cool. Journaling tools will be supplied, but feel free to bring your own notebook and/or pen. You can sign up here!
