Fleurs de Villes at the Pru

This one-of-a-kind international floral show is making a stop in Boston this weekend. A “celebration of global destinations,” the exhibition features 16 floral mannequins inspired by various cultures, people and heritages. Dia de Los Muertos

Those who wish to celebrate and remember their deceased loved ones are invited to participate in a Day of the Dead celebration and altar-making at Spontaneous Celebrations in Jamaica Plain on Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Bring a photo of your loved one, some flowers, incense or some of their favorite things and join in the celebration of life. The event will also include traditional Aztec dances, a meditation circle and community art.

Community Garden Day

Volunteers are needed to help with planting flower bulbs for next spring at the Savin Hill Wildlife Garden on Saturday at 11am. Grab your garden gloves and tools and head over to help while socializing with neighbors. Plus you can enjoy the last few blooms of the season before they are gone!

Hip Hop Block Party

The Codman Square Library is calling all Hip Hop heads for a community outdoor dance party featuring live entertainment from A Trike Called Funk. The free event will also feature a graffiti workshop and takes place Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.

The free event will include a comic book art activity as well as opportunities to meet the team and learn more about badges, service projects and other experiences the Girl Scouts offer in Dorchester.

Rainbow Over the Bridge Brunch
