Barbara Colby Playground is now open

Take a little time this week to check out the new Barbara Colby Playground at Tenean Beach. The $350,000 renovation by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) includes new and improved play equipment that sits on higher ground.

The Stitch House is hosting two sewing workshops this weekend.  On Saturday learn how to make a reversible apron – which is a great project for beginners This makes a great gift and can be personalized by putting a copy of a favorite recipe into the pocket of the apron. Self Care Saturday

On Saturday mornings at 11am at Open Doors Yoga Studio enjoy Gentle Yoga and Aromatherapy with Carolyn McDonald for Gentle Yoga and Aromatherapy.  This flow class is practiced at a slower pace with emphasis on proper alignment and breath work. The benefit of essential oils is both aromatically through diffusion and topically through gentle assists if chosen. Class is comfortably warm.  Sounds like heaven.  You can sign up here!

Weekends are for egg sandwiches and Greenhills Bakery has their version called the Irish breakfast roll made with a fried egg, Irish sausage, Irish bacon, and black and white pudding on a freshly baked roll. Give it a try!
