The Martin Richard Foundation, in partnership with the Boston Bruins Foundation, is proud to announce the 3rd annual MR8K Virtual! The third annual MR8K will provide runners with a live, virtual race experience in support of the Martin Richard Foundation. On NOVEMBER 14th at 9am, runners from around Massachusetts, the country, and the world will come together – apart – to complete an 8K on the course of their choice. Lucy’s now offers Friday’s brunch at 10am so you can bring your laptop to Lucy’s and enjoy brunch while you “work.” Lower Mills Tavern features $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys at brunch. On Sunday, head to dbar and enjoy huevos rancheros and the monster sticky bun on their heated/covered outdoor patio! Family Affair Pop Up
Family Affair announced recently it would be closing for the winter but to be on the lookout for future pop ups! Well, the future is here! Family Affair – Caribbean and Soul Food restaurant located in Uphams Corner – will be opening this weekend for a pop up on Friday and Saturday from 11-7pm. You can check out the menu here!

Take the Testing Pledge
Mayor Marty Walsh is asking everyone to commit to getting tested for #COVID19. Getting tested is how you keep yourself and your family safe. It’s also how we track the presence of the virus in our community. We need the most accurate picture we can get, so we can focus our response in the most effective way. The Boston Testing Pledge was launched last week. It’s a commitment that employers and individuals can make, to get tested and support testing access. Here’s a map of testing sites in the city.
