Brunch O’Clock

Have brunch every day this weekend! Lucy’s now offers Friday’s brunch at 10am so you can bring your laptop to Lucy’s  and enjoy brunch while you “work.”  Lower Mills Tavern features $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys at brunch.  On Sunday, head to dbar and enjoy huevos rancheros and the monster sticky bun on their heated/covered outdoor patio!  How about burgers and Bloodys at 224’s outdoor patio on Saturday or Disco Brunch Sundays at Blend?

Family Affair Pop Up

Family Affair announced recently it would be closing for the winter but to be on the lookout for future pop ups! Well, the future is here! Family Affair – Caribbean and Soul Food restaurant located in Uphams Corner – will be opening this weekend for a pop up on Friday and Saturday from 11-7pm.  You can check out the menu here!

Football Sunday!

The Patriots play the Ravens on Sunday at 8:15pm. Eire Pub is showcasing an all-star lineup of appetizers on Sundays. Enjoy classic apps like chicken tenders, potato skins, wings, a crock of Mac + Cheese and the Pub’s famous chili. Watch the game at Lucy’s with brunch first and then stick around for the game!  Want to watch the game at home? Put on your jersey and order take-out from your favorite local restaurant! Check out delivery options here. Some of our favorites include G Winz from Wingz and Tingz and the Bred Impossible Burger from Bred Gourmet. Don’t forget to stock up on game day snacks at American Provisions!  here!

Take the Testing Pledge

Mayor Marty Walsh is asking everyone to commit to getting tested for #COVID19. Getting tested is how you keep yourself and your family safe. It’s also how we track the presence of the virus in our community. We need the most accurate picture we can get, so we can focus our response in the most effective way. The Boston Testing Pledge was launched last week. It’s a commitment that employers and individuals can make, to get tested and support testing access. Here’s a map of testing sites in the city.
