Not only will you be picking up something special for your mom, you’ll be supporting our small businesses in the neighborhood. Or maybe treat mom to a meal at a local restaurant for her special day! Brunch + Dinner at the Industry

Treat mom to brunch or dinner. The Industry has teamed up with Lopez the Florist for Mother’s Day! Each reservation will include a flower arrangement. (Flowers must be ordered by May 6th). Make a reservation here. 

Go Rollerskating!

After a 2-year hiatus, Chez-Vous, the legendary roller rink – has reopened!  You can purchase your tickets for admission here! Cash will not be accepted at the door – no exceptions. You must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter.

Free Admission to the Zoo for Mom

Celebrate mom at Franklin Park and Stone Zoos this Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, with free admission for all mothers throughout the day. Bring Mom along with the entire family to either Franklin Park Zoo or Stone Zoo for a memorable day spent discovering all of the incredible animals at each Zoo! Be sure to look for all of the animal moms – at Franklin Park Zoo, meet our western lowland gorilla, pygmy hippo, Baird’s tapir and De Brazza’s monkey families in Gorilla Grove, our all new outdoor gorilla habitat, and the Tropical Forest. At Stone Zoo, be sure to stop by the white-cheeked gibbon exhibit to visit mom Iggy with her family, as well as the reindeer exhibit to visit mom Holly, and her offspring Aiofe. Bruins face off against the Hurricanes on Friday at 7:05pm and then again Sunday at 12:30pm.  The Celtics face the Bucks on Saturday at 3:30pm. The Red Sox place the White Sox on Friday at 7:05pm, Saturday at 4:10pm and Sunday at 11:30am.It’s the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday at 6:40pm. Slow Flow on Saturday

Take some time on Saturday and enjoy an hour long Slow Flow Yoga at Four Corners Yoga and Wellness. This class supports slowing down, grounding and healing. This restorative practice begins with gentle movement and then utilizes props to release into poses. Class takes place on Saturdays from 11:30am-12:30pm. You can sign up here!
