Converse is celebrating this new opening during the first two weekends of September with promotions and customization specials. Kicking off over Labor Day Weekend, consumers will receive a free backpack with each purchase of $75 or more on a first come, first serve basis. Feel like getting lost in some fog? Take a trip to Franklin Park and check out Called Fog x FLO: Fujiko Nakaya on the Emerald Necklace. This new installation is made up of “fog sculptures” and will be on display in five parks including Back Bay Fens, Olmsted Park, Jamaica Pond, the Arnold Arboretum, and Franklin Park. Responding to climate, these sculptures will release soft clouds of fog from dawn to dusk through October 31st and will change shapes based on wind patterns, humidity, temperature, and gravity! Cool!
It’s Prehistoric Dino Day at the Franklin Park Zoo! They’re going out with a big bang, as Destination Dino at Franklin Park Zoo comes to an end. Join us on Saturday, September 1, for dinosaur facts, crafts, and more as we celebrate all things prehistoric! Don’t miss your chance to hear from zookeepers, as they highlight a few of the Zoo’s animals that may even be related to our dino friends.
