Pride Celebrations Happening In and Around Boston

Take a Power Yoga Sculpt Class at Open Doors

Add a new challenge to your yoga practice with this full-body workout. Same high energy of a vigorous vinyasa class with an additional metabolic boost. Class incorporates the use of light hand weights with traditional yoga poses and cardio bursts for maximum calorie burn. Hand Weights will be provided at the studio, or feel free to bring your own! Students must bring their own yoga mat, towel, and water. All levels welcome.  You can register here. 

On Sunday, we wear tie dye at dbar

Wear your tie dye at dbar for a Tie Dye Tea for the Community on Sunday starting at 4pm with DJ Begbick. Special dbar tie dye t-shirts will be sold with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Breaktime.

For those of you who like to drink and eat with dogs!

Earlier this month, the City of Boston announced an effort to create dog-friendly spaces at beer gardens and outdoor restaurant patios across Boston.  This new policy from the Inspectional Services Department’s Health Division will allow restaurants to create spaces where dog owners and their pets can be together. All restaurants and beer gardens with outdoor space in Boston can apply for a “Dog-Friendly Spaces” variance. Here’s a running list of neighborhood patios that will allow dogs!

It’s been a long time coming, but worth the wait!  Blasi’s Cafe – the wildly popular restaurant in Adams Village – is back!  Blasi’s posted their temporary hours on social media – Monday – Saturday Bar Hours: 11:30 am to 12:00 am. Kitchen/Deli closes at 8:00 pm. Stop by!

Take a Pride BlueBike

In celebration of Pride Month, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is rolling out 100 Bluebikes wrapped in a rainbow pride-themed design through the month of June. Blue Cross will also be donating $1 to Fenway Health in Boston for every ride taken on a Proud bike through the month of June. You can learn more here!
