Boston Pizza Festival

If you like pizza, you’ll love this event! On Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 participate in the Boston Pizza Festival with over 30 pizzerias serving up slices, showcasing demonstrations, and live music while you eat your pizza. Take place at City Hall Plaza!  You can get your tickets here!

Earlier this month, the City of Boston announced an effort to create dog-friendly spaces at beer gardens and outdoor restaurant patios across Boston. Many local businesses applied and are applying!  Here’s a running list of neighborhood patios that will allow dogs!

City of Boston Free Outdoor Fitness Series

Get moving!  The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) are pleased to announce the 2022 Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. The series will offer free weekly classes both virtually and in 18 City of Boston parks from June 5 to October 1.  The series offers Yoga, Barre, Dance Fit, HIIT, Family Fitness, ZUMBA,  Strength Training, Afrobeats, POUND, Walking Group, and Strength Training! Frozen Drinks at Yellow Door

Enjoy your margaritas frozen at Yellow Door! Pairs perfectly with chips and guacamole. YDT is also selling a Pride Margarita through the month of June. $1 from each drink sold will be donated to Youth on Fire, a confidential drop-in for young adults, 12-24 years old, experiencing unstable housing. Available at all three locations through the end of June.

Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market on June 25 with Music theme

n honor of June being Black Music Month, there will be the following additional happenings to complement the 30+ local Black-owned businesses at the market on Sunday, June 25 from 12pm to 6pm:
  • Featured live band will be TheMastadonis Projectled by Adonis Martin – a Boston based group that puts a unique spin on their interpretation of Jazz. Bringing with them an eclectic style that encompasses gospel music (from traditional to contemporary), R&B/Neo-soul of the 90s/early 2000s and Latin and Caribbean influences, this band is sure to give you an EAR opening experience! Adonis Martin is also the Musical Director at the newly opened Grace by Nia at Boston Seaport and his band is the house band for the venue.

  • ZaZ Restaurant pop up serving Caribbean fusion dishes
