Take an Island Adventure

Explore Lovells Island – this requires two boat rides – the ferry to Georges Island plus a short (and free) boat ride to Lovells.  Walk the slightly spooky island (very much MidSommar vibes) and check out the ruins of an old military fort, great views of the city and you’ll be out in the fresh air! Summer Fridays

First Parish Dorchester is presenting a free weekly summertime celebration of community + culture on Fridays from 6pm-9pm – June 11 – September 10. Expect picnicking, kids activities and live music! Featuring Jerry Beck, artist, educator, community leader, & the founder of The Revolving Museum, will be leading us in creating a Recycled Rodeo – multigenerational participatory art w recycled materials!
