Boston Lights – A Lantern Experience

The wildly popular “Boston Lights: A Lantern Experience” is back at Franklin Park Zoo for its third year! Guests can expect to see more than 55 large scale displays comprised of hundreds of colorful lanterns. Highlights include scenes from the rainforest, ocean displays with creatures of the deep, glowing corridors of lotus and bamboo, traditional Asian lanterns and a 66-foot long rose corridor. New this year is a colossal 82-foot-long octopus tunnel with eyes that open and tentacles that change color! Get the details here!

Salsa Dance Party

City of Boston Salsa Dance Party: On Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., enjoy a salsa dance party on City Hall Plaza! DJ Big O (Instagram: @djbigo1) will be playing salsa music and Salsa y Control will be providing dance lessons.

Backyahd in South Bay offers a free outdoor HIIT class on Sundays at 10:30am on the turf in front of Nike.  TrillFIT and Boston Harbor Now offers a free dance class on Sunday’s from 10am-11am.  TRILLFIT’s signature dance class blends Beyonce-worthy choreography with multiple rounds of HIIT to sweat your way to a tighter, more toned body.
