Best New Restaurant

Located at 1035 Dorchester Avenue in Savin Hill, Ban Tôi features delicious Vietnamese food including hot pots, seafood, and noodle soups!  Ban Tôi has only been open for six months and already receiving accolades. If you haven’t been yet, it’s worth the visit! Ban Toi operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m daily! The Boston Globe recently published their list of 29 Best New Restaurants in Boston (and suburbs) and low and behold in the round up is this Dorchester gem. 

Last Call for January Charity Cocktail

Head to Lucy’s American Tavern and The Bowery Bar and order up a New Year’s Resolution made with tequila blanco, orange, pomegranate, winter spiced syrup, lemon and spicy ginger brew.  $2 from each cocktail sold will go to Lee Academy Pilot School.  Drink up!

A little comfort food at 224 Boston

Planted is launching in Boston for the first time EVER at Lower Mills Tavern!  Starting on Monday at 4pm, for one week only, LMT be offering an additional plant-based dinner menu! Chef Cara’s vegan menu will feature a variety of thoughtful, plant-based dishes like Bok Choy & Sweet Potato Hash, Cauliflower Cavatappi and so much more!

American Provisions Dot Winter Warmers: Hot cheese for cold nights!

Join cheese buyer Kara and wine buyer Free at American Provisions Dot – as they lead you through some of their favorite cheese-centric winter dishes! They’ll show you how to make both Swiss and Italian fondues, raclette and tartuflette, along with serving up a baked spruce-wrapped cheese feast! Free will pair natural wines with these rich dishes, to complete your decadent night out. Tickets include food & drink, and all purchases made after class receive a 10% discount.  This event takes place on Thursday, January 23rd from 7pm-9pm.  Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.

Paw Patrol at the Franklin Park Zoo

Direct from Adventure Bay, your favorite PAW Patrol pups Chase and Skye are racing to the ruff-ruff rescue to meet you at Franklin Park Zoo for a fun-filled day! Come meet your favorite pups and get your photo taken inside the Meeting Barn. Kids can also have fun with PAW Patrol coloring sheets. There will also be keeper chats where guests will learn more about some of our Zoo’s own heroes.
