dbar hosts the best karaoke around.  Beginning at 10pm on February 21st, Friday night karaoke will feature the heroes of karaoke think Alanis, Madonna, Queen, Lady Gaga – you know heroes!  Go for dinner – they have a new menu – and stick around for karaoke.

Watch the Bruins

The Bruins face the Flames on Friday night at 9pm and then the Canucks on Saturday night at 10pm.  Head to Lucy’s to catch the Bruins! There are plenty of TV’s to catch all the action at Lucy’s.  With over 50 beers on draft, an appetizer selection featuring snacks like Mexican Street Nachos, Crispy Calamari and Lucy’s Famous Wings, you can’t go wrong watching the game at this Adams Village hot spot!

It’s National Margarita Day on Saturday, February 22nd. Yellow Door in Lower Mills & the South End is ready to celebrate! Order up Margaritas de la Casa for $11 housemade tequila infused flavors – hibiscus, strawberry, vanilla, jalapeno, coconut, lime leaf & ginger!  Yellow Door will also feature the Just Bought a Cadillac Margarita for $14 with Tequila Ocho Blanco, Pierre Ferrand dry curacao, agave, lime. Don’t forget the chips and guac!

Bringing the Big Easy to Dorchester!

Celebrate Mardi Gras with Dorchester Brewing Co on Saturday, February 22nd with classic N’Awlins food, plenty of beer, cider and wine, music, costumes and more!  No cover charge and now is the time to come check out DBC’s Hopservatory, four-season Rooftop Greenhouse, Game Room, Restaurant and more. Fun starts at 11:30am and goes til they close at 12:30.

Franklin Park Winter Festival

Enjoy a cozy day of games, crafts, nature walks, hot cocoa and more at the Franklin Park Clubhouse on Saturday, February 22nd from 10:30am – 1:30pm. It’s fun (and free!) to create wonderful winter memories with your family at the Franklin Park Winter Festival. All ages are welcome! The Franklin Park Coalition sponsors the annual Winter Festival to bring children and families together at the park during the height of the winter season in Boston. Whether there is snow on the ground or not, there is always fun to be had. See you there!

Starting with bib overalls in 1889, Carhartt’s become known for its durable workwear. Recently in the past few years, Carthartt has evolved into fashionable street wear.  And guess what? Carthartt will be opening its third store in Boston right here in the neighborhood! The 5,000 square foot shop will be located inside a former gas station and auto repair shop at 1170 Mass. Ave. right near the South Bay Mall. The store’s hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

$5 Mimosas and Bloody Marys Plus Live Music

Cheer on the BU Terriers

BU Athletics will once again provide the City of Boston residents with the opportunity to cheer on the Terriers for FREE!  On February 22nd and February 23rd Boston residents will receive complimentary admission to all three Terrier events on campus.  Visit here for more information.
