Chez Vous Skate Night for Boston Raiders
This Friday evening the community will roll together to make a difference in youth sports at Chez Vous from 6pm to 11pm. Join in for a roller skating fundraiser to support The Boston Raiders Youth Football and Cheer teams. Lace up your skates and glide into an evening of fun, music, and community spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a first-timer, this event promises excitement for all ages. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for a night of laughter, prizes, and making a positive impact. Advanced tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door.
Dine Out Boston® is back for its summer edition
This two-week culinary celebration, with more than 175 participating restaurants, provides diners an opportunity to enjoy delicious deals at restaurants across Greater Boston and restaurateurs the chance to bring in new patrons to their establishments from August 4-17, 2024. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner, with many offering takeout and delivery options as well. Restaurants select one of three price points and customize their lunch and dinner menus: lunch at $22, $27, $32 or $36 and dinner at $36, $41, $46, or $55. Restaurants can offer as many courses as they desire at their selected price. Whispers, Wags and Whiskey
Experience the extraordinary connection between worlds at a furr-tastic event with psychic medium Courtney Fishbone at Boston Harbor Distillery from 3pm to 8pm on Saturday. The event is free and pet-friendly on the patio. Courtney will be offering 15 minute readings for $35 and other local pet vendors will also be on site, as well as paw-some themed cocktails available for purchase.
Grand Opening Celebration of Saigon Swirl
Saigon Swirl, an Asian-American-inspired froyo pop-up, is thrilled to announce its grand opening this Sunday, August 11th, 2024! Operating exclusively for three weekends at Pho Hoa Restaurant, this exciting new pop-up is Boston youth-operated and brought to you by Boston Little Saigon in collaboration with Pho Hoa Restaurant and Reign Drink Lab. All profits generated from Saigon Swirl will be donated back to Boston Little Saigon to fund future youth programming. Get the details here!

Don’t miss the 4th annual Black Market Fair this Saturday from 12pm to 4pm at Garvey Park in Dorchester. The free event is an opportunity to shop with and support local black owned businesses and vendors, as well as enjoy activities for the whole family. There will be family fun, games, food, community resources and a backpack drive.
Flight of the Angels Motorcycle Ride
This Sunday join Cops for Kids With Cancer for the 18th Annual “Flight of the Angels” motorcycle ride starting at Florian Hall in Dorchester. Registration takes place Sunday from 9:30 to 11am and the first 100 riders will receive a free t-shirt. The scenic, police-escorted ride travels through the South Shore and ends at the Black Raspberry Pub in Plymouth. Tickets are $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.
The return of Boston Lights: A Lantern Experience at Franklin Park Zoo
Experience the return of Boston Lights: A Lantern Experience at Franklin Park Zoo, now bigger and brighter than ever! This fun event is perfect for day nights, family fun and more!
