Boston, MA – August 5, 2024 – Saigon Swirl, an Asian-American-inspired froyo pop-up, is thrilled to announce its grand opening this Sunday, August 11th, 2024!

Operating exclusively for three weekends at Pho Hoa Restaurant, this exciting new pop-up is Boston youth-operated and brought to you by Boston Little Saigon in collaboration with Pho Hoa Restaurant and Reign Drink Lab. All profits generated from Saigon Swirl will be donated back to Boston Little Saigon to fund future youth programming.

Located in Dorchester, a neighborhood known for its deep-rooted connections to the Vietnamese community, Saigon Swirl introduces Boston youth to the business world and provides leadership training and hands-on experience. Fun and creative menu offerings include “The Saigon Swirl” a combination of Vanilla and Thai tea froyo topped with boba and condensed milk.

Residing in the former Reign Drink Lab space, Saigon Swirl will also be bringing back Reign Drink Lab’s most popular cold brew based drinks such as the Dark and Stormy. Saigon Swirl is open Friday to Sunday from August 10th to August 25th from 11am to 8pm at Pho Hoa at 1370 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA. Saigon Swirl is proud to be run by a team of passionate youth, dedicated to sharing their cultural heritage and supporting community initiatives.

By partnering with local Vietnamese organizations, Boston Little Saigon aims to foster a sense of unity and pride among Boston’s residents. The Youth Program is made possible through the funding and support of the City of Boston Office of Immigrant Advancement, Pho Hoa/Reign Drink Lab, Ham Choi Life, and the JP Fuji Group. Through this initiative, Saigon Swirl hopes to honor the rich Asian-American heritage that has significantly shaped Boston’s cultural landscape.

We invite all members of the Boston community to join us in celebrating and preserving the flavors and traditions that make our city unique. Join us at Saigon Swirl’s grand opening on Sunday, August 11th from 11am to 3pm. For more information, please visit us on social media at Saigon Swirl Boston (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).

“The City of Boston has created amazing youth programs, and we are so appreciative of being able to participate in the Immigrant Youth Advancement Program with Boston Little Saigon. The kids in our program are amazing, and we can’t wait to show everyone what they’ve been working so hard on.” Annie Le – President, Boston Little Saigon

“When we closed Reign Drink Lab’s Dorchester location a year ago, we felt like we left a hole in our neighborhood. We are excited to support the Boston youth in their opening of Saigon Swirl in our former space, and it will be exciting to experience their pop-up this summer.” – Tam Le, Owner, Pho Hoa / Reign Drink Lab
