Dine Out Boston

Eat up! Dine out Boston kicks off on August 18th. Make a plan to enjoy lunch for $15, $20, and $25 and dinners for $28, $33 and $38. Perfect excuse to get out of the house and support local restaurants! Brew at the Zoo

Brew at the Zoo – a 21 plus event – is returning to the Franklin Park Zoo this Saturday, August 17th 5pm-9pm. Brew at the Zoo is a beer-tasting event that offers guests the opportunity to walk on the wild side as they sample offerings from local breweries and restaurants. Plenty of activities, among them the Wicked BIG Bugs exhibit —available this year only—, where visitors will encounter huge sized versions of very detailed tarantulas, ants and scorpions, among others.Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here!

The Highland Street Foundation would like to pick up the tab on admission to Boston area attractions. Isn’t that nice? Enjoy free admission to places like the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Franklin Park Zoo, USS Constitution Museum and many more. Celebrate arts and culture at the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative’s annual multicultural festival. Highlights include colorful stage performances with an array of traditional music and dances, martial arts, circus, sports, clinics, recreation games, face painting, inflatable entertainment, and a wide array of food and crafts from our vibrant neighborhoods: Cape Verdean, Latino, Afro-Caribbean, African American, Asian, and beyond. Takes place on Saturday from 1-6 p.m. Mary Hannon Park, 613 Dudley St., Dorchester 02125

#Mattapan Love

Enjoy music, food trucks, crafts and more at the last of #MattapanLove festival of the summer! Takes place on Sunday from 12-6 p.m at Ryan Playground.

Ashmont Farmers Market

Sibling Organic Farm returns to the Ashmont Farmers Market this week with their Mass-grown bounty. StonyCreekFarm will also be on hand providing locally raised grass-fed halal certified beef, lamb, and goat, farm fresh eggs, local honey, & maple syrup! Local musician Sydney Matlock will be performing from 4pm-6pm.

$5 Mimosas and Bloody Marys Plus Live Music

Lower Mills Tavern is now offering $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys during brunch on Saturday and Sundays 10am – 3pm.  How awesome is that? LMT also features live music on Saturday night beginning at 10:30.  LMT features live music every Saturday night! Late night menu served.
