National Cheddar Fries Day

We love an excuse to eat cheesy fries and Saturday it’s National Cheddar Fries Day!  Head to Ashmont Grill and order the Train Wreck Fries – made with cheddar jack cheese, pickled jalapeno, sour cream, bacon, scallions.  You’re welcome!

Spring Blooms

Pick up a colorful bunch of flowers this Easter weekend!  From lilacs to peonies to tulips and roses, nothing brightens up a table like fresh flowers!  Head to Cedar Grove Gardens!  They’ve got plenty to choose from! 

Sports-A-Palooza

We’ve got two teams in the playoffs!  The Bruins and the Celtics.  The Bruins face Toronto on Friday night at 7pm.  The Celtics play the Pacers on Friday night at 7:30pm and Sunday at 1pm.  The Red Sox play the Rays on Friday night at 7:10pm, Saturday at at 6:10pm and Sunday at 2:10pm. Our pick for to watch a game this week is Lucy’s American Tavern!  There’s plenty of TV’s, delicious sharable snacks and plenty of beer on draft!

Hunt & Gather

Let the games begin! Get your baskets ready! The Spring Egg Hunt at Dorchester Park will take place on Saturday, April 20th at 10am sharp! The eggs go quick so be ready right at 10am. Meet at the tennis courts! We hear the Easter Bunny will be there for photos! There will also be a designated area for little kids too!

Register for BNBL

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department has announced that registration is now open for the 50th annual season of Boston’s favorite summer basketball league, the Boston Neighborhood Basketball League, kicking off on Monday, July 8.  You can learn more here!
