Hop to it! Savin Hill Easter Egg Hunt
Get your baskets ready! The Savin Hill Easter Egg Hunt at Savin Hill Park will take place on Saturday, April 19th at 10 am! Line up in the basketball court at 10am, hunt starts at 10:15 am – activities like bubbles face painting and Dot Art until 11:30am. We hear the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance too!
Swan Boats Opening Day
Nothing says spring time in Boston more than a stroll around the common and a ride on the Swan Boats. The season is kicking off Saturday, April 19th at 11am. 2025 marks the 148th season! Get all the details here!

We know it’s Boston Marathon Weekend but there is another marathon taking place in Boston – it’s the 26 True! 26.TRUE is a marathon alternative that starts and ends at Malcolm X Park in Roxbury, created and managed by the Pioneers Run Crew. Kicks off Saturday at 7am!
Paul Revere’s Ride 250 year Anniversary
There will be awesome events taking place on Friday, April 18th in honor of 250 years since Paul Revere’s Ride! It will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with a historic reenactment at Paul Revere House, followed by a table read of the original play “Revolution’s Edge” at Paul Revere Mall in the North End. At 7:30 p.m., Mayor Wu will officially launch Boston 250 and headline a short program at the Paul Revere Mall, alongside special guests and performers including a brass quintet from the Boston Pops. There will also be a drone show over the harbor starting at 8:30pm. The drone show will be immediately followed by Paul Revere’s row from the North End across the Harbor to Charlestown, where Paul will mount his horse and begin his famed midnight ride. The Tall Ship is back! It is opening weekend starting Saturday, April 19th with live music by Up All Night! The Tall ship will be open Wednesday to Sunday from now till May 25th and starting May 26th it will be open all week long!
Easter Sunrise Service at Castle Island
The legendary Easter sunrise service will begin at 5:55 am behind Fort Independence at Castle Island on Sunday, April 20th. It’s a beautiful tradition but be warned, it gets very crowded. Set your alarm to experience the awesome neighborhood tradition.
