Pride Week Celebrations in Dot! Celebrate Pride at dbar with Pride edition of Showtunes Tuesday on June 5th and Stoplight Party on Friday, June 8th Showtunes Tuesday is bar’s popular, weekly video musical extravaganza with resident dbar VJ, Ryan Grow, playing the best videos clips from all show tunes, musicals, and Broadway performances throughout the night. dbar’s Pride Week Show Tune Tuesday edition will begin at 9 p.m. and feature the very best of shows and artists that have made a particular impact on the LGBT community (Cyndi Lauper “True Colors”, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, Madonna “Express Yourself”, ABBA clips, etc.). dbar’s Pride Stoplight Party on Pride Friday promises to “Light Up Your Night” with the perfect cocktail and plenty of opportunities to mingle. Guests are asked to wear green if they are single, red if they are in a relationship, or yellow if they are somewhere in between. Glow sticks in corresponding colors will be handed out to further light up the party. DJ Gay Jim will beginning spinning tunes at 10 p.m. Never a cover, always a blast. Must be 21+ to enter. Fireworks Alert! On Friday, June 8th at 9:30pm a fireworks display will take place off of the JFK Library. These fireworks will help kickoff the United States Conference of Mayors! The show will last approximately 20 minutes. Enjoy!
