A community meeting will be held to have a conversation about the local impact of Massachusetts’ new marijuana law with a panel of experts from the Codman Square community, medical field, and legal profession. Show your support! Dorchester Brewing is hosting a special night of improv for College Bound Dorchester! Edutainment Improv strives to support educational efforts in the neighborhood so Dorchester Brewing is collecting and matching donations for College Bound Dorchester.So come grab a brew and enjoy some of the best improv Boston has to offer and support educational efforts in the neighborhood. Featuring:Cool Teens, Memoirs of a struggle, Bear Skin Rug. This event takes place on January 24th starting from 7:30pm – 10pm.

A bushel and a peck! Head to the Great Hall every Saturday from 10am-1pm for local farmers, food producers, artists, music and more at the Dorchester Winter Farmers Market!  This neighborhood event officially kicks off this Saturday! The market accepts cash, credit/debit, and SNAP/HIP  It’s open January26th through March 30th!
Make sure to follow the Dorchester Winter Farmers Market on Facebook for a list of weekly vendors like produce from Oakdale and Farmer Dave, meat, seafood and dairy from Stonycreek and Moonlight and bread and pastries, plus specialty foods/vendors and more! The Dorchester Winter Farmers Market is located at 9 Norfolk Street, Codman Square!
