Detectives assigned to the Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s help to locate Anthony Chester, 31, of Roxbury, who is wanted on a straight warrant out of Roxbury District Court for Murder in relation to a fatal stabbing that occurred on 05/30/2022. He was last seen in the area of Roxbury, and he is described as a 31-year-old, Black Male, approximately 5’09, and about 190 pounds.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows: At about 8:59 PM on Monday, May 30, 2022, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury/Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 4 Beauford Lane in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers located Earnest Sims, 39, of Boston, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
