Remember this guy? Flying on 93 the wrong way on Sunday? Well, he was officially identified + cited.
Massachusetts State Police “caught up” with the 76-year-old man from Lynn after receiving over ten phone calls on Sunday night about the “situation.”
Working with MassDOT, the state police shut down the northbound side where the Toyota Corolla was heading and had several plow trucks block the path and stop the vehicle just north of Exit 11 in Milton.
According to police, the driver was “extremely confused and stated that he did not know where he was.” The man was then driven back to the South Boston Barracks, and his car was towed. A friend picked up the man, and the driver was cited for a wrong-way violation. The police issued an immediate threat notice to the Registry of Motor Vehicles to have his license suspended.
