It’s February Vacation week and here are some suggestions of fun things to do with the kids!
Skating by
Looking for a fun way to keep the kids entertained? Lace up the skates and hit the ice. The Devine Rink is offering public skating through the winter. If you don’ t have skates, don’t worry, you can rent them! If your blades are dull, you can get them sharpened there too! You can also rent the ice for $225 for a 50 minute skate. So bundle up the family and head to the rink! Public skating hours for school vacation week are Tuesday-Friday 10am-3pm.
Lace up those bowling shoes
Take the family bowling! Head to Boston Bowl and bowl a few strings at this old school institution! They are open 24 hours 7 days a week. Are big balls more of your thing? Kings Dining & Entertainment in the Seaport District offers all kinds of fun! This new hot spot features 20,000 square feet of fun at 60 Seaport Boulevard complete with 16 lanes of big ball bowling, a “bar-Kade” filled with video games, pool tables, foosball a giant four-man air hockey table, shuffle board, and hoops!
Let’s go to the movies
The AMC at South Bay has 12 theaters complete with leather recliners and you even order beer and wine while you watch your movie!
Children’s Winter Festival
It’s Children’s Winter Festival Time on the Boston Common! On Thursday, February 20th from 11am-2pm partake in some winter fun including, a snow maze, a 45-foot-long toboggan tunnel, games and free skating (and rentals!) on the Frog Pond.
It’s a ZOOdunnit at the Franklin Park Zoo
It’s a real mystery at the Franklin Park Zoo. Can you solve this ZOOdunnit and find out who’s been causing some mischief? Brush off your detective hat and magnifying glass and head over to Franklin Park Zoo during February school vacation week! The fun takes place February 17th through February 23rd.
