Help Juniper Get Back on All Four Paws at Juniper Fest this Weekend in Dorchester
Here’s a sweet way to help a local dog in need! Juniper Fest is happening Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, in Dorchester to raise money for Juniper, a nearly 2-year-old dog diagnosed with dysplasia in both elbows.
The two-day backyard music festival will feature a packed lineup of local talent, including Westwater, Evan Greer, Oompa, Anju, Cliff Notez, and more. The fun runs from 6pm–11:30pm on Friday and noon–11:30pm on Saturday, with live music, DJ sets, dog-themed games, movie screenings, a “bondfire,” birthday cake, and a few surprises along the way.
Juniper needs surgery costing more than $8,000, followed by physical therapy and ongoing care. The family hopes to raise $5,000 to help cover those expenses.
Juniper Fest is free to attend, with donations encouraged but not required. The family is hoping to raise $5,000 toward Juniper’s surgery and recovery.
