Update:
A BFD fire truck struck a person in Dorchester on Wednesday afternoon around 12:25pm near the intersection of Bowdoin and Geneva. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to NBC 10 Boston, the Suffolk County DA’s office stated that the victim is a 34-year-old man who they believe to have been attempting to die by suicide.
