UPDATE: 13-Year-Old Zaniya Davis of Dorchester Has Been Safely Located

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Zaniya “Princess” Davis, who was reported missing from Dorchester on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
At about 8:30 PM, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a missing juvenile from her home in Dorchester. Davis was last seen earlier in the day at approximately 12:00 PM.
She is described as a Black female, about 5’2” tall, weighing approximately 138 pounds, with brown hair styled in braids. At the time she was last seen, Davis was wearing a white T-shirt, black leggings, blue Crocs, a Sprayground backpack, and a black ski mask.
Davis was expected to report to a youth residence in Roxbury at 7:00 PM but did not arrive. She is known to frequent areas in downtown Boston, Revere, and Cambridge.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Zaniya Davis is urged to contact 911 or District C-11 Detectives at (617) 343-4335.
