On Sunday morning, JC Simcock came out to his backyard to check on his two Yorkshire terriers to discover that Tiny – a six-year-old – was missing.
According to CBS Local, Simcock searched his home and the block of Fowler Street in Dorchester where he lives but no Tinky.  So Simcock checked his security cam footage and discovered his Yorkie had been stolen. The video shows a young man – approximately age 15-18 – walking down the street with Tinky wrapped in a blanket.

Simcock called the BPD and began to flier the neighborhood and post on social media that Tinky was missing.

Well, we’re happy to report that the Simcock family posted on Facebook on July 4th, that Tinky was reunited with them! “7/4/23 Great news out of Boston tonight, little Tinky has been safely reunited with her family!”

No word how the dog was returned but the important part is Tinky is safe and sound with the family that loves her.
