Internet & Social Media Safety Family Workshop

In an effort to promote healthy and safe online experiences for students, this workshop will feature the critical topic: Internet & Social Media Safety. Target Audience: All BPS Parents & Guardians | Content Grade Levels: 3-8.  This event takes place on Monday, October 21st 7pm-8pm at the Murphy School – 1 Worrell Street.

Patriots vs. Jets – Monday at 8:15pm

Are you ready for some football?  The Pats are playing the Jets on Monday night at 8:15pm.  Might as well keep the weekend going and head out to watch it.  Here are our picks of where to watch the game in Dorchester!

A special Citizens Connect To Bayside meeting will take pace on Saturday, October 26th from 10am-12:30pm for a planning session for the future Bayside Development at Carson Place – 180 Mt. Vernon Street.  This event has been organized by Andrew Square Civic Association, Columbia Saving Hill Civic Association, Harbor Point Community Task Force, and John McCormack Civic Association.  You can register for this event here!  

Did you know pumpkins float?

It’s the 18th Annual Neponset Pumpkin Float is coming up!  Bring a pumpkin to Pope John Paul II Park on Tuesday, October 22nd at 5:30pm for an evening of family fun!  This wildly popular family event encourages you to bring a 6-8 inch hollow & carved pumpkin to the event. Each jack-o-lantern will have a candle inserted and lit before being launched en-mass in the water at 6pm.  Floats and candles will be provided.

Harvest Festival at Cedar Grove Gardens

Harvest Festival at Cedar Grove Gardens!  Sunday, October 27th from 1-3 pm. Wear your costumes kids! Horse drawn wagon rides through Cedar Grove Cemetery.
