There’s an election on Tuesday, November 5th.  You’ll be voting for Boston City Council at-Large in addition to our local district councilor –  Andrea Campbell, District 4, Frank Baker District 3 (both unopposed).  Polls are 7am-8pm.  Wonder where to vote?  Visit here. 

We’ll, drink to that! Charity Cocktail

For the month of November, Lucy’s American Tavern and The Bowery Bar are mixing up a cocktail to do good in the neighborhood! Enjoy a Kentucky Rendezvous and help support St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children. $2 from each cocktail sold will be donated to the center.

Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day, vets will receive free admission to the Franklin Park Zoo on Saturday, November 9th.  Veterans and active military members can also enjoy a free lunch at 110 Grill on Monday, November 11th.  You can learn more here!

Prepare for Thanksgiving

American Provision’s Thanksgiving menu is now live! Everything from cheese platters to apple, sausage and sage stuffing!  Don’t forget the wine for dinner too!  You can see the full menu here! 

Register to Run

Register for the Halfway to Dot Day 5K and Toy Drive! This is a family friendly run for all ages and abilities along the paths of DCR’s Pope John Paul Park in Dorchester on Saturday, December 14th at 9am. The course is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England.  After the race, please join us for the Mayor’s Toy Drive and breakfast at Florian Hall. All youth under 12 who donate a toy are registered at no cost. Registration for adults and teenagers is just $20.  Make sure you register in time for a long sleeve t-shirt!   You can register here!
