Showtunes Tuesday – Pride Edition
Showtunes Tuesday is dbar’s popular, weekly video musical extravaganza with resident dbar VJ, Ryan Grow, playing the best videos clips from all show tunes, musicals, and Broadway performances throughout the night. dbar’s Pride Week Show Tune Tuesday edition will begin at 9 p.m. and feature the very best of shows and artists that have made a particular impact on the LGBTQ community (Cyndi Lauper “True Colors”, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, Madonna “Express Yourself”, ABBA clips, etc.). Spectacle Island 5K & Fun Run
Join Boston Harbor Now at the 9th annual Spectacle Island 5K for beginner and elite runners alike and all those who want to have fun on Boston Harbor! Enjoy panoramic views of Boston Harbor and the city skyline from this historic island. Race day festivities feature a 5K Race, a half-mile Kids Fun Run, picnic lunch for participants, music, a beer ticket, and kids’ activities. All proceeds from the Spectacle Island 5k will help support free and equitable access to Boston Harbor and Islands, and help improve lives of 40,000 youth and their families.
