Keep the kiddies entertained this holiday season with some fun filled events at Franklin Park Zoo and the Stone Zoo!

December School Vacation Week at Franklin Park Zoo
December 26 – 29, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Lots of fun winter-themed activities, crafts, zookeeper encounters and much more for you to explore!

Schedule of Activities:
10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Arts & crafts
11:00 a.m. – Red panda zookeeper chat
11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Storytime & mystery animal encounter
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Storytime & mystery animal encounter
1:30 p.m. – Zebra zookeeper chat

December School Vacation Week at Stone Zoo
December 26 – 29, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Snow leopards (including two cubs born in May!), North American river otters, black bears and reindeer are just a few of the incredible animals that call the Zoo home. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about some of the Zoo’s residents and ask questions directly to the staff about how they care for animals during the colder winter months. Warm up in the Animal Discovery Center and get up close during animal encounters.

11:00 a.m. – Snow leopard zookeeper chat
11:00 a.m. – Mystery animal encounter, Animal Discovery Center
1:00 p.m. – Mystery animal encounter, Animal Discovery Center
1:30 p.m. – Reindeer zookeeper chat

Zoo Year’s Eve at Stone Zoo’s Annual ZooLights
December 31, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Welcome the new year at Stone Zoo and enjoy early entry to the last night of ZooLights!
Meet reindeer and snowman-costumed characters, plus stick around for the reindeer ice sculpture carving.
