Update! According to Sip & Spoke’s twitter account, their goal has been met!  Way to go!

See details of this really awesome project below:

How cool would this be – converting an old vacant “comfort station” into a lively community coffee shop/bike shop right in heart of Upham’s Corner!  But everyone needs to help raise the final $100,000 to make this vision a reality.   If the goal of $50,000 is met, dollar will be matched 1:1 by MassDevelopment through their Commonwealth Places grant program!

So let’s pitch in and get the word out about this awesome neighborhood project!  To make a donation or learn more, visit here!

About The Sip & Spoke Bike Kitchen:

The Sip & Spoke Bike Kitchen is a welcoming community hub, providing an active, inviting space for residents of all ages to gather and connect with each other indoors, as well as expanding access to abutting green spaces. It will bring two new uses; a coffee shop/café serving healthy, locally sourced food and a bike shop that will provide residents with access to low-cost bicycles, bike repairs, and free classes and activities for youth and residents of all ages. This will be a welcoming spot to visit while biking around the City of Boston!
