Mayor Michelle Wu has declared a heat emergency in the City of Boston beginning June 22, 2025 through June 24, 2025. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-90s with a feels-like temperature of up to 100 degrees. Cooling centers will be open at Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) community centers Sunday through Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to call 311 with any questions about available city services and look out for each other. If you see someone out in the heat who appears in distress and needs help, call 911 immediately.
