On Wednesday, the Mass. Department of Public Health announced that dozens of beaches are closed due to excess levels of bacteria in the water or other contaminants. One of those beaches is in Dorchester, Tenean Beach.
Earlier this month, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay released its 2024 Beach Season Water Quality Report Card, and these beaches were low on the list. You can check out that list here.
